The Generals Redoubt relies on the contributions of our supporters for operational expenses; Fancy Hill management, website upkeep; website/email domains maintenance; and most importantly, to raise funds to provide educational forums, events, and activities where our alumni, students, and friends may hear and be heard. Donate Gifts of Stocks or Securities
Gifts of stocks and securities are welcomed by The Generals Redoubt. Being a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization, charitable donations of stocks and other securities support TGR and also offer significant tax advantages such as provided for in the Charitable IRA Rollover, and on stocks/securities that have been held longer than one year. TGR encourages all donors to check with their professional advisors regarding tax matters.

Preserving the tradition that makes Washington and lee truly exceptional
During this campaign, which ended on December 31, 2025, we raised over $200,000 for our Seventh Annual Fund to help champion the unique culture of honor which defines Washington and Lee.
Your support made it clear that the Honor System is best maintained as it developed under President Lee, and defined by two key attributes: student-ran and Single Sanction. Thank you for defending Washington and Lee’s greatest tradition!

Charlie Kirk Fund for Media Excellence
Empowering W&L students to seek truth and attain historical knowledge amid a modern media landscape.
During this campaign, we raised over $30,000 for enhanced recording equipment, a fund for producing student podcasts, and for a living memorial to Charlie Kirk’s legacy.
Thanks to several generous donors in the month of October, we greatly exceeded our campaign goal!
